Let's give Tatanka a home!

Last Updated 11/13/2024

Many in our community have expressed interest in making the "Tatanka" sculpture a permanent part of Frankfort Square. Created by local Nebraska artist Carl Weiss, this striking buffalo bench has been a fixture in the Square since April. To purchase Tatanka and keep it in Columbus, we need to raise $6,800, which will go directly to the artist. By contributing, you’ll help support local artists and enhance the beauty of our community. Donations can be made through the Columbus Parks Foundation. Let’s come together to make Tatanka a lasting part of our city!
