Workshop Inspires Participants to Turn Shattered Glass into Art

On Saturday, July 11, creativity was in full swing at the Creativity Corner as participants gathered for the Broken Glass Creations Workshop led by area artist Jolene Jankowski, owner of Broken Glass Creations, LLC.

The workshop offered attendees a unique opportunity to transform broken pieces of glass into colorful works of art, creating stunning floral designs while learning new artistic techniques in a fun environment.

Creativity Through Broken Glass

Throughout the session, participants embraced the opportunity to literally break glass before arranging the colorful pieces into beautiful floral compositions. Attendees were able to experiment with color, texture and design ideas, proving creativity often begins in unexpected ways.

No two projects were alike, and it was exciting to watch each artist's personality shine through in their finished piece. Whether attending with friends or trying something completely new, participants left with a one-of-a-kind creation and a memorable experience.

More Than Just Art

Broken Glass Creations is about more than learning a new craft. It reminds us that even broken pieces can become something beautiful with a little creativity, patience and imagination.

Artist Jolene Jankowski's passion for sharing her art was evident throughout the workshop as she guided participants through every step of the process, encouraging beginners and experienced artists alike. Her relaxed teaching style made the class approachable and enjoyable for everyone.

A Wonderful Afternoon of Creativity

The Broken Glass Creations Workshop is another example of the diverse hands-on arts programming offered through the Columbus Trax Creative District. Workshops like these provide opportunities for people of all skill levels to explore new artistic mediums, meet fellow creatives and discover talents they may never have known they had.

A special thank you to Jolene Jankowski for sharing her talent, creativity and enthusiasm and to everyone who joined us for an afternoon filled with learning and beautiful artwork. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for future workshops.
