The Columbus Art Gallery invites Nebraska artists to be part of Ignite, a juried exhibition celebrating the power of new beginnings and the moments that inspire transformation.
Whether your work explores personal growth, resilience, hope, creativity, or the quiet spark of an idea waiting to flourish, Ignite encourages artists to interpret the theme in their own unique way. We welcome artwork that reflects the energy and optimism that accompany the beginning of a new chapter.
This exhibition is an opportunity to share your perspective and connect with viewers through meaningful and inspiring artwork. Artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply.

Exhibition Dates: January 9–28, 2027

Submission Deadline: November 20, 2026
Artist Selection Notification: December 28, 2026 – January 3, 2027
Entry Fee: Free
Submission Requirements
To be considered, please email your submission to [email protected].
Include the following information for each artwork:
- Title
- Medium (oil, acrylic, photography, ceramic, mixed media, etc.)
- Dimensions (Height × Width × Depth, if applicable)
- Year completed
- Sale price or indicate "Not for Sale (NFS)"
- Brief description or artist statement (optional but encouraged)
