Gina is a passionate photographer who brings both artistry and authenticity to every shot she takes. While she's known for her portrait work, capturing everything from senior sessions to family photos, Gina also has a deep love for Nebraska's wide-open landscapes. Whether it's golden fields, rustic barns, or dramatic skies, her scenic photographs reflects a heartfelt connection to the land she calls home.
Community Collaboration: Columbus Champions
Beyond here solo work, Gina is also a regular freelance contributor to 402 Content Marketing. In that role, she helps bring to life the stories of the Columbus Champions, those individuals who make a difference in our community. Through her lens, Gina captures their personalities, achievements and impact in a way that feels genuine and personal.
Giving Back Through Photography
Gina's passion for people extends well beyond her business. She generously offers a free senior photo program for families who may not otherwise be able to afford professional portraits ensuring every student feels celebrated during this milestone moment. In one of the most compassionate and selfless acts of service, Gina also volunteers her time to photograph stillborn babies at the hospital, giving families a lasting and cherished image of their precious child. These meaningful moments speak to the heart behind Gina's work.
Recognition & Awards
Designs by Gina was voted Best Photographer in the 2024 Columbus Telegram Best of Columbus competition and in 2025, the community once again recognized her talent by voting her one of their favorite photographers.
Featured Work: Forged Fields Exhibit
Most recently, Gina was selected as one of the eight artists in the Forged Fields: The Art of Agriculture exhibit, now on display in the Columbus Art Gallery. Her submissions celebrate the beauty and strength of rural life, a theme that resonates deeply with her style and subject matter.

Gina's pieces and the other works of art in the exhibit will be on display in the Columbus Art Gallery located on the second floor of the Columbus Community Building, 2500 14th St., through July 31. Gallery hours are Monday - Thursday from 1-5 p.m. and Saturday from 1 -4 p.m.
