Be a Gallery Docent for "Colors in Motion"

Have you ever wondered what could be gained by volunteering? What if donating a few hours of your time could offer beauty, connection and a deeper sense of purpose?

The Columbus Community Gallery, located on the second floor of the Columbus Community Building at 2500 14 Street, is looking for volunteers to serve as docents during the upcoming exhibit, Colors in Motion. And we'd love to have you join us.

Why Volunteer?

You might ask yourself, Why should I just donate my time? Here's why:

As a gallery docent, you'll be surrounded by inspiring and vibrant artwork during each shift. Not a bad way to spend a few hours. But more than that, you'll meet people from all over the country and even the world, who stop in to explore our local talent. These casual conversations often lead to meaningful connections and shared stories.

Your Time Makes a Difference

Most importantly, your time helps us keep the gallery doors open and accessible to everyone. Our volunteers are the reason we're able to continue offering high quality, free exhibits to the public. They're the heart of what we do.

Be Part of Something Bigger

Volunteering brings a sense of accomplishment. The feeling that you're part of something bigger than yourself. And in return, your contribution gives our organization the opportunity to reach further and achieve more than we ever thought possible.

So be a part of that movement. Help us share the beauty of art with the community, one visitor at a time. Volunteer to be a gallery docent during Colors in Motion.

If you're interested or would like to learn more, stop by the gallery or contact us directly. We can't wait to welcome you.
