Missoula Children's Theatre Summer Camp Returns with "Peter and Wendy"!
Excitement is in the air as the Missoula Children's Theatre Summer Camp prepares to return from July 15 - 20, featuring the enchanting production of “Peter and Wendy”! This week-long camp is a fantastic opportunity for students from kindergarten through 12th grade to dive into the magical world of theatre. The event is hosted by the Columbus Arts Council and presented by Missoula Children's Theatre.
Auditions and Roles
All K-12 students are invited to audition for a chance to land one of the 60 available roles. Auditions will take place on July 15 at 9:45 am at Federated Church. This is a unique chance for students to learn the ins and outs of putting together a full production from Missoula's talented theatre instructors. No preregistration is required—just show up and showcase your talent!Rehearsals
Selected students will participate in rehearsals from July 16-19, with sessions running from 10 am - 12 noon and 12:15 pm - 2:15 pm, including a 15-minute break between sessions. Over these four days, students will immerse themselves in the rehearsal process, learning lines, practicing scenes, and understanding the dynamics of stage performance.Performances
The camp will culminate in two performances on July 20, held at Central Community College. The first performance will be at 3 pm, followed by a second at 5:30 pm. Family, friends, and the public are all invited to these showcases to celebrate the hard work and talent of the young performers.
Participation Details
- Audition Date & Time: July 15, 9:45 am at Federated Church
- Rehearsal Dates: July 16-19
- Rehearsal Times: 10 am - 12 noon and 12:15 pm - 2:15 pm
- Performance Date: July 20
- Performance Times: 3 pm and 5:30 pm at Central Community College
- Cost: $50 per child, payable after auditions on Monday if your child earns a spot
