A Heartfelt Opening for The Family Palette

Last Updated 2/6/2026

An Evening Filled with Art and Community

What a wonderful evening at the opening reception for The Family Palette exhibit! The gallery was filled with warmth, conversation, and the kind of energy that only happens when friends, family, and art lovers gather together in support of something meaningful.

Artists Sharing Their Stories

One of the most special parts of the night was hearing directly from the artists Patrice Wielgus, Samantha Kooyman, Elisabeth Wielgus, and Paul Kooyman, as they shared about their creative journeys and the inspiration behind their work. Listening to their stories added such a personal layer to the artwork on the walls. Each piece suddenly carried not just color and texture, but memories, influences, and pieces of family history.

A Celebration of Family and Creativity

The Family Palette is truly a celebration of family, creativity, and the unique talents that connect generations. While every artist brings their own style and voice, together their work creates something beautifully unified, a reminder that art, much like family, is both individual and shared. Each piece tells its own story, yet all belong to a larger one.
