In 2024, Flatwater Free Press and the Nebraska Arts Council joined forces to launch the Creative Districts of Nebraska Series, a poster project celebrating the energy and character of Nebraska's official certified Creative Districts.

Artists from each highlighted district were selected to create original works showcasing the distinct culture identities making their communities truly special.

2024 posters for sale: Ashland, Benson, McCook, Columbus and Lincoln.

2025 posters for sale: Chadron, Omaha and Norfolk

In addition to these district designs, two more artworks, created by Reyna Hernandez and Sarah Rowe were added to celebrate unique aspects of Nebraska not directly tied to a Creative District.

Each design was reproduced as a high-quality 12" x 18" poster, available in the corresponding community for just $20.

The Columbus poster, designed by Yara Ramos Hernandez is available through the Columbus Arts Foundation.
