A Perfect Evening at Beats & Eats: Food, Fun, and Fabulous Tunes

Saturday nights in Frankfort have always had a special charm, but this past weekend, the allure was amplified to new heights with an exceptional turnout as the Summer Beats & Eats Concert series kicked off. The atmosphere was electric, the food was delectable, and the music? Absolutely unforgettable.

A Feast for the Senses

The evening started with tantalizing aromas wafting through the air, thanks to Billie's Grilled Cheese and the Funnel Cake Truck. Billie's Grilled Cheese offered a mouthwatering array of sandwiches, each more delicious than the last. Whether you’re a fan of the classic grilled cheese or crave something with a gourmet twist, Billie's menu had something to satisfy every palate. And what better way to top off a delicious dinner than with a sweet treat from the Funnel Cake Truck? Crisp, golden, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, the funnel cakes were the perfect dessert to enjoy under the setting sun.

An Evening of Top-Notch Tunes

As the crowd savored their meals, the main event was just gearing up: a live concert by Arcade Radio. Their performance was nothing short of top-notch, captivating the audience with a diverse setlist that had something for everyone. Arcade Radio showcased their versatility by performing a wide variety of covers, spanning multiple genres and decades. From classic rock anthems to modern pop hits, their renditions were spot on, energizing the crowd and prompting spontaneous sing-alongs.

It was clear that Arcade Radio has a strong connection with their audience, and their passion for music was evident in every note they played.

Outstanding Turnout with More to Come

The sense of community was palpable throughout the evening. Friends, families, and neighbors gathered, enjoying the warm spring night together, united by their love for great music and good food. It was heartening to see such a great turnout, and the positive vibes were contagious.

For those who missed out on this incredible night, don't fret! Columbus Parks & Rec Beats & Eats program will continue to host concerts every Thursday and Saturday night throughout the summer. Each event promises a unique musical experience, delicious food, and the chance to make wonderful memories with your loved ones. These programs are funded in part by the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.

So mark your calendars and make sure to join us for the next concert in the Frankfort Square. Whether you're coming for the fantastic food, the outstanding music, or simply the great company, you’re guaranteed a night to remember. See you there!
