Business Spotlight: Center for Survivors

For over 25 years, the Center for Survivors has been a beacon of home in downtown Columbus. Founded by Jamie Snyder, Rosemarie Heinisch, and Linda Cattau, the organization began as a volunteer effort in a small house, evolving into a dynamic nonprofit serving six counties in Nebraska. Today it stands as a vital resource offering 24/7 crisis advocacy, legal and medical support, emergency shelter, prevention education and peer-led outreach programs.

The Center plays a visible role in the community year-round whether it's painting the town purple during Domestic Violence Awareness Month,  organizing Denim Day, or partnering with downtown businesses for Shop for Survivors. Revolution, their teen peer-advocacy group, brings energy and education to schools, events, and public spaces through engaging conversations and creative outreach.

While they don't sell products, their "signature items" are their outreach programs, tie-dye Revolution tees, and the powerful change they create every day.
